Tsuitate(shield) shogi is one of the most popular shogi (Japanese Chess) variants, and this app is the first ever implementation of the game.
In tsuitate shogi (chess version of the game is called Kriegspiel), a game proceeds just as in a normal game of shogi, except that you can only see your own pieces.
Computer serves as an umpire (resides in the server) and tells you whenever either player made an illegal move or a check.
You lose immediately if you made 10 illegal moves.
Other than that a winner is decided according to normal shogi rules.
Don't be afraid if you were a beginner in normal shogi.
