Bayer Australia Ltd's new 'Turf ID Guide' app provides detailed information on Turf Weeds, Turf Diseases and Turf Insects. High resolution photographs showing a magnified perspective of each weed, disease and insect, allows for easy identification. In the case where the turf problem cannot be easily identified, Bayer has provided an email address so that photographs can be sent to their Turf Consulting Manager for personalised identification. In addition, advice is given on the Situation, Occurrence and Treatment for each Turf problem. Bayer products are recommended and active Ingredients, rates, etc. listed. This app is intended for use by Turf Managers, in particular, Golf Superintendants, however, it is also expected the wider community will also benefit.
