It is with great pride and satisfaction, the Union of Arab Banks announces that it has added to the list of books that were issued during the last recent years, an important achievement, which has its place, no doubt, in the banking and economic libraries of the Arab world.

The Union of Arab banks realized that Arab bankers, financial and banking institutions and universities report a high level of need to a trilingual (English, French, and Arabic) dictionary of banking financial and economic terms. This dictionary seeks to unify the economic, banking and financial language among all Arab bankers, in order to attain, in the long-run, a language that is understood and used by all. This dictionary will also make it easier for these countries to communicate amongst themselves and facilitate the achievement of common projects.

This great achievement was the result of a thorough work, a lot of research and a high level of precision; and finding the adequate term required the use of a huge number of references and requested over thirty years of full dedication by Dr Uday Kassyour.
