Do I need an Umbrella? How about a Jacket? It's fairly cold today, what about a hat or mittens? Often you ask yourself these things before leaving home. This app will very quickly keep you updated before it's too late and you're already on your way. Additionally, because it's best to have hot or iced coffee based on your overall temperature throughout the day this app can help you as well.
Note: this is the free version, a version with a full set of working widgets is available for $0.99 USD.
As far as coffee is concerned, the best strategy is to focus on your internal temperature rather than exclusively the external temperature. Do I feel cold on the inside or hot? Do I want to warm up with a cup of coffee or cool down. If you drink coffee every day this is the best question to ask. Even if it's a pretty warm day and everyone around you is sipping iced coffee through a straw, ask am I chilly on the inside? If so, then a hot coffee is what you should have!
Jackets are worn by most people many months of the year, many are confused exactly which type to wear and especially when to wear them. The easiest jacket to wear is a jean jacket, blue jean jackets are certainly the most common and versatile. When the weather is colder what about if I need a lining? Flannel liners add an important insulation for colder nights, an even warmer option is a shearling liner, it adds considerable warmth. Corduroy pants and khaki cargo pants are a great option for most jackets during warmer spring and fall months of the year.
Other apps that provide the weather forcast such as weather underground, weatherbug and the weather channel have great resources to see such as the current weather radar, however most of us are simply on the run and need to know quickly before heading out if we need to grab a jacket, mittens/hat or umbrella!
