I made Ume Ume for myself as a single father of three boys who CONSTANTLY argue over whose turn it is with everything. I looked for an existing app, but the few that are out there are either paid apps, or they make you do silly things like register an account or signup through social networking. I just wanted something simple that got the job done, so I made my own. Some friends said they would love something like this too, so I put it up for the world to enjoy.

It's really simple. Just set up who you want to take turns with (the Whos) and what you want to take turns at (the Whats). Set a timer from 1 minute to years. You can also track turns manually without a timer.

Great for parents to track whose turn it is with video games, the mobile phone, or whatever toy they happen to all be wanting today. I've found it's also great for managing chore rotations. For example, whose turn is it to do the dishes, walk the dog, or take out the trash.
