Around 800,000 people in the UK are living with dementia. This number is expected to reach 1,000,000 by 2021 and to double within 40 years.There is a lot that we can do to improve the way we interact with people who have dementia, no matter what role we have in our workplace or community. Whether you are a receptionist, a gardener in a care home, a housing worker or working in the Police, it is increasingly likely that we will meet people who have dementia in our daily lives.
