Synopsis of the eBook: The Bronson family is just like any other American family: flawed, connected by blood and marriage and set in their ways.

Carter Bronson and his wife Camille are documentarians who have landed a potentially lucrative opportunity that will take them throughout Africa for the next year. Their 14-year-old son Carter Junior, aka CJ, must be left behind.

CJ will spend the next year with Carter's parents, Melvin and Lucille Bronson. Although Lucille runs the show, Melvin is a curmudgeon full of facts and opinions which he freely spews onto whomever has his attention.

Over the course of the next year, lives will be changed as they intertwine and personal cultures will be tested.
