"Usbong" is an open source platform that helps even non-technical people build their own Android apps for use in data collection, assessment, training, screening, diagnostics, and interactive digital storytelling by putting together components (e.g. text inputs, checkboxes, radiobuttons, gps location, the camera, voice recorder, image displays) to form a "tree" using Usbong Builder (companion Android app) or Google Drive Spreadsheet.

Context -> Tree -> Mobile + Web System

The idea is that as long as the target context uses some form of flowchart, clinical pathway, step-by-step guide, cookbook recipe, or a branching storybook (ala choose-your-own-adventure) that can be turned into a decision tree, the Usbong platform should be able to transform that into a mobile application.

The mobile application can then optionally send data to web servers running on low-cost plug computers and/or cloud-based services like Gmail, G+, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, Evernote, and many more for easier data collection and aggregation.
