Vietnamese American Community Network (VACN) at Thăng Long is a non-profit organization, which provides aid to the members of the Vietnamese community. VACN’s mission is to promote and foster the unity of the Vietnamese community and to encourage members of the community to become involved and help each other. Our organization will provide services to help the Vietnamese community to assimilate into the western culture in hopes that the communities will learn from each other; and thus, strengthen the bond with the community.

We are dedicated to building the political power of the Vietnamese community by encouraging and helping them with registering to vote and casting a ballot, as well as urging politicians to pay attention to issues that matter to the Vietnamese American voters and protecting their fundamental rights to vote.

Our goal is to urge the Vietnamese community to go to vote and to provide the services such as online voting registration to those who need it such as the elderly and the newer naturalized citizens.

We will also help the Vietnamese community to establish a communication channel with their local, state, and federal representatives who seek to pass laws and regulations which they think will benefit the community, and to advocate for their constituents in the legislature.

These are only a couple of the services we will offer. As our organization develops, we will adjust to the community’s needs through suggestions and concerns from the general Vietnamese population body.
