Vaibhav N Gaikwad, a Gemini by birth, is an Engineering Graduate in Instrumentation from Mumbai University. He resides in Sector 4, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, has 14 years of work experience as an Engineer with JawaharLal Nehru Port Trust.
Being a honest, humble and friendly natured person, he was very popular among the residents; Ganesh Naikji gave him the opportunity to serve the community in a bigger way by giving him an NCP councillor ticket in 2010, from ward no. 53 and he won the confidence and blessings of the residents of Sector 1A, 3, 4 & 5.
In the year 2010 he was elected as a Corporator from Ward No. 53.
He also continues to serve the public through his NGO's Vaibhav Pratisthan and Khushi foundation.
