VanKale is a Heavy Metal band based in Maryville, Tennessee, just outside of Knoxville. Formed in 2005 and continuing today, the face of VanKale has changed many times. Over the years, these changes in the roster have brought diversity that can be seen and heard in everything they write. The current lineup, which ironically almost mirrors its original member list, is as follows: David Vananda: Drums, Ryan McHale: Guitars, Nick Vananda : Guitars, Chris Downey: Bass & Backing Vocals, and Jeremy Jones: Vocals. With a combined 60+ years of musical experience, VanKale continues to look toward the future with horns held high, interact with everyone they can (Bands, Venues, and Fans alike), and write music that can fit into multiple sub-genres in the world of Metal.
