After a distinguished and spotless career in the civil services for 33 years,I retired as divisional commissioner, Konkan. During the Lok Sabha elections, Shiv Sena candidate Rajan Vichare won by a huge margin of 2.82 lakh votes and I was fortunate enough to make a small contribution in that election.
