Publicator is a new way to tell others about yourself and exchange contacts with them. Fill in your profile, by specifying name, photo and your contacts (e.g. page on Facebook, phone number, email, Skype, web-site,... - anything you want), plus any extra info you want, and run service. After that, wherever you are, your contact information becomes available to other people around, and it will travel with you. And you also will be able to discover and view profiles of other network members that appear nearby you, and they can contact with you too.

This ad-hoc contact-exchange social network, arises here and now, may being used on a different types of events and meetings as an electronic badge; or, for the convenience of contacts interchange, to avoid dictating them and rewriting data from visiting cards manually; or, for publishing some bulletin or ad in a crowded places; or just for acquaintance (for instance, your social network profile becomes «bound» to yourself in reality and «walks» together with you, situated in your life context). Simply run the app, toggle online and don't switch off Bluetooth, setting «always discoverable» mode. From this moment your profile becomes visible (contacts, that become visible, are selected with check box). Here is no register, only switching «Online» toggle on.

After making the service run, you may quit the application — it continues work in background, up to switching toggle off. At the same time, running service shows notification about its state.

To discover other users you should open app and choose «Refresh» item in menu, and after several seconds the discovered users will be shown. Search is performed by Bluetooth, information interchange is realized with Internet connection. But while running in background service doesn't consume battery and traffic almost at all. The contact information of discovered users can be copied by performing long click on the item in contact list or by choosing «Copy all» menu item at the screen with selected user profile. Also you can call the selected user, clicking on any contact from contact list.

App requires Bluetooth (it should be switched on and discoverable), Internet access, permission to camera and to external storage for making pictures, permission to vibro for notifications, permission to wake lock for processing in background when display is off, and permission to access network state.

ATTENTION!

* This app doesn't initiate or suggest any Bluetooth connections!

* On some devices a Bluetooth activation request made by this app doesn't work correct, unfortunately, that is a problem of Android. So, on such devices you should set discover timeout manually to «always discoverable».

* This app is a public beta-version: developer disclaims from any possible troubles that are caused by using the app, including loss of profit and so on.

* It is prohibited to decompile and disassemble app, analyze code and protocol, and to perform other actions that wittingly can break the functionality of the service.

* All personal data you publish with this application are potentially available for unlimited quantity of users in the Bluetooth action range; switching on the «Online» toggle means you are agree to publish all specified information; to cancel publishing just get offline, it is enough.
