By adding hashtags (e.g. topics like #food, #fun, #friends #party, etc.) to your journal entries, you can categorize your thoughts for easy lookup at a later time. The hashtag screen lists all the hashtags you've used so that you can browse your journal entries in a fun and easy way!

• Tag your journal entries with locations. By choosing a place to associate with your journal entry, not only will you see where you were when you captured your memory, but you will have a way of easily viewing all the entries that you saved at a given location.

• Tag your favorite journal entries. Some memories are more special than others. By marking a journal entry as a favorite, you can easily browse all your happy thoughts easily and at any time.

• Browse all your private photos with a convenient photo grid.

By subscribing to Vitajot Premium, you will have access to these extra features:

• Lock journal entries. Some moments are more private than others. You can keep prying eyes away by setting a passcode that will be required to view a locked entry.

• Search your journal entries. Just like searching the web, you can enter some text and instantly find journal entries from the past – even when you don't have an internet connection. Try doing this with an ordinary pen-and-paper journal!

• Write journal entries when offline. A journal should be accessible always and everywhere. The offline posting feature will enable you to save entries when you do not have an internet connection and will automatically post them later.

• Drafts. Do not rush your words. Save your in-progress journal entry as a draft and come back to finish it at your convenience.

Vitajot's subscription billing is intended to support continual updates and bug fixes. Regardless of whether you subscribe to Vitajot Premium or simply use the free version, your journal data is only stored in your App.net account, and not hosted elsewhere.

Vitajot is built on the Ohai journaling protocol – so if you already have used Ohai on iOS, then all your entries will be available in Vitajot.
