Volt is a social ridesharing network. It connects you with fun people going in the same direction and helps you fill your empty seats or take a ride in someone’s car. It’s completely free to share a ride with Volt.
Volt uses Facebook to introduce you to the people you’ll share a ride with. It ensures trust by pairing you within your network, and showing your mutual friends with others. It also uses your Real Communities (which can be your workplace, university, or residential compund) to introduce you to more people within your everyday life that you can trust. A rating system allows you to rate each other at the end of a trip, helping other users make decisions in the future.
