A member of the community for nearly 14 years, Robert Vagramov grew up with the City. He watched as new streets were built, new subdivisions put up, and the City of Port Moody evolve into what it is today.

He studied Management and Political Science at the University of Ottawa, and has been involved in the democratic process, running his first campaign in 2011. He currently works as a Mac-specialized IT consultant at a local startup. In the past, Robert produced the OneLove Show, a local charity youth show held at the Inlet Theatre, three years in a row. He was also involved in the Royal Canadian Air Cadet program, the Port Moody Sailing Club, and has participated on city committees.

Rob's current vision for Port Moody is that of a unique, small-town oasis in the midst of every-increasing suburban development. The Evergreen Skytrain Line brings with it increased land values, always a catalyst for urbanization. Managing this development in a smart way to protect and preserve Port Moody's unique, natural, small-town vibe during the introduction of the SkyTrain is Robert's first and foremost goal.
