This app is your water corrosion consultant. We have developed a user-friendly, interactive questionnaire designed to assist you with assessing your water system condition, associated risk, and generate practical solutions for corrosion related problems. It's time to take control of the corrosion in your water system!

Water system components are at increasing risk of damage due to corrosion and metal loss as they get close to the end of their design life or if the system exhibits any of the following: accelerated corrosion, perforation, deposit build up (plugging), discoloration, excessive copper, lead or corrosive bacteria.

The purpose of this app is to evaluate corrosivity, scale build up tendency and the risk associated with corrosion activity in your water system. We are providing this important information by providing actual examples and taking into consideration both the saturation index(LSI) and electrochemical corrosion performance parameters: corrosive ions, galvanic corrosion, water velocity and corrosive bacteria(MIC).

Water treatment recommendations and risk ranking are based on many years of experience and water system studies in commercial, industrial and residential water systems.

APPLICATIONS

Assessing the corrosivity of water is desirable for water system designs as well as corrosion risk assessment purposes. Its' usefulness is well documented throughout technical literature including NACE and should be considered for the following systems: Potable Water, Process Water, Fire Control Water, Cooling Water, Waste Water, Steam Condensate Water, Distilled Water, Demineralized Water, Boiler Feed Water and Industrial Water.
