Whaleguide offers lots of information for every whale watcher or nature and wildlife lover of every age. You will quickly become an expert with this app and if you would like to photograph whales and dolphins, Whaleguide app will help you to create better pictures, because it provides useful information about their behaviour. Whaleguide app contains as much information as a book, but has much more to offer.

67 species of whales and dolphins are explained in detail in a way which is interesting and easy to understand.

For each species you will find a quick ID and a complete description, information about behaviour, diving behaviour, diet, reproduction, possible hot spots, interesting facts, popular names, key facts, information about the taxonomy, the scientific name and distribution, including GPS based distribution. Besides that you can count on diagnostic photos and an "Finder" that helps you to easily identify the whales and dolphins.

In "Whale Watchers World" over 500 regions in more than 70 countries are highlighted. The app informs which cetacean species may be seen, where, at which time and how. In addition you will find important information about the code of conduct, selecting your equipment and a responsible operator, as well as photography hints.

Whaleguide contains more than 250 spectacular photos of whales and dolphins and 67 comparative size drawings. On the basis of a few details that are visible from the boat (or from land) and using the GPS function, the interactive "Finder" helps you to easily distinguish between the 67 species the ones you just spotted. Alternatively, when planning your next trip, you can find out in advance which whales and dolphins you may encounter at your destination. Whaleguide app can also be used offline (except for GPS based functions).

In addition there are more than 260 extra photos available as an upgrade. In addition more than 50 spectacular video clips will be available as an upgrade (InApp buy). You will be able to watch the different behaviour of whales and dolphins and listen to their tremendous voices.

Whaleguide was developed by Ralf Kiefner. His book "Whales and Dolphins, Cetacean World Guide" has been published in 5 languages and is generally considered a "must have" for whale watchers.
