What's My Mood? Junior re-introduces the FACES - Fun Activities to Connect Engage and Socially Succeed - Program to Occupational Therapists, teachers of young and special needs students, and parents of children who need to recognize and improve nonverbal communication. We say "re-introduces" because it’s “big brother,” What's My Mood? has been out for more than a year and is active on hundreds of devices. We're happy that OTs, teachers and parents are trying it and giving us input. The most constructive feedback led us to create JUNIOR. It's the same as What's My Mood?, but JUNIOR offers 4 categories instead of 8. After testing, we've found this reduces the frustration of having to choose between similar emotions like HAPPY/SURPRISED and BORED/TIRED.

We developed “JUNIOR” for lower level players who are learning ANGRY, HAPPY, SAD, & SCARED. So, if you tried WHAT'S MY MOOD? and it was confusing or too hard to discern for the children, please give JUNIOR a whirl.

The game tracks overall score based on time and accuracy. This game is the first part of the FACES program. Memory Mood Mash Up, Match My Mood, Find That Face and the new, more active Whack-A-Mood utilize the same faces in other interesting ways to engage children who need to truly understand emotions.
