This app is developed by Purdue University experts to assist students of entomology in recognizing and identifying the most common insect pests of homes, forests, gardens, health and agriculture. It contains 150 high resolution, photographs of the adult and the immature stages as well the damage symptoms that result. Several common beneficial insects are illustrated and described. Accompanying identification facts are brief descriptions of each insect’s biology, damage and management. Search by name or browse through the photographs until you find a match. Test your identification skills by taking an interactive quiz of the insects or associated damage as they appear on your screen.
