WinkyChat is an anonymous text chat application which allows users to chat with each other without knowing the personal details of each other such as mobile number. This application allows users to chat with each other similar to what has been experienced with Internet based chats or IMs like yahoo, rediff chat etc. It keeps the personal data and phone number of the users safe and secure from getting exposed.

The first version of this app is available on Android and Windows platforms which will be extended to other platforms in the near future. After downloading the application, Usershave to register themselves by filling in their basic information like Name, Age, Sex, Hobbies and they have an option of uploading their picture also. After successful registration, they can see profiles of other users from their own country and users from other countries as well. The user is allowed to upload and edit his image, avatar, chat name etc. He also gets notifications on his device regarding new messages, application updates or any new features.

In the next version, we would see an integration of anonymous Voice Chat services with the text chat application by leveraging Altruist's globally well-established anonymous Voice chat platform.
