The success of our ‘Wordpage-English’ flashcards encouraged us to expand the language learning experience to three East Asian languages. And here you have it: Wordpage-Chinese! Wordpage is a simple yet effective vocabulary building tool that uses flash cards with native speakers’ sound recording. Just flip through the illustrated pages listening to the pronunciation and you will master over 1,200 basic to intermediate Chinese vocabulary. (There are five different apps; each has 225 to 267 words/flashcards). Developed by a team of educational experts and an award-winning illustrator, Wordpage carefully selected the most commonly used Chinese words for both young children and foreign language learners. We grouped the vocabulary in a way to maximize the memory retention of the user. It simply works! We designed Wordpage for the users as young as 2, 3 years old and without previous knowledge in Chinese. The cute, vibrant illustrations in the cards attract kids’ attention; the app’s simple, intuitive interface allows them to use it without help from parents or teachers.
