Wotja turns your words into melodies. Use it to create cool tunes, relax, dream or think about things. It's a powerful, effective and deceptively simple creativity app you will likely return to time after time. Inter-App Audio, Audiobus & optional MIDI Out are supported, too!

No musical knowledge needed. Just enter a name, message, hash tag or even numbers & emoji etc. and then let Wotja work its magic. There's lots of customisation options, too!

Musicians: Unleash Wotja’s "generative music" power with the Phrasing and Improvise settings. And, via optional Core MIDI / Virtual MIDI / MIDI Clock, use it as a music generator to drive other MIDI synths for e.g. ideas and live performance.

[TUNE]:

• Type or paste in some text or words

• Wotja will generate a tune from the first 101 characters that are entered (which can be in any language and include Emoji).

[SHUFFLE]:

• Quickly try the tune with different included high quality sounds & backing etc.

• If you are only interested in quickly trying out different tunes, then just shuffle the text or words (see Settings)!

[CHANGE]:

• Customise any of the values used in your shareable “wotja”, such as:

- Background image: Select one from your camera roll, and even let it auto pan (Settings)

- Backing track: selection of “Generative Music” backings (beats & ambiences)

- Players: many quality sounds included (e.g. Piano, Guitar, Synth, EPiano) with various selectable live echo and reverb effects

- Theme: colour, style and animation

- Tune: many settings for phrasing, spacing and generative improvisation

- Music: tempo and root

- Speech: locale (e.g. accent - can be really funny), style, pitch, rate and level

[GAME]:

• Tap and hold the moving line, which is influenced by your melody, and see what score you can get!

[SHARE]:

• If you want to, you can freely share your wotja, either with/without background image as an email attachment, or without image as a “wotja URL” in a tweet, email, facebook post or even instant message.

• Wotja needs to be installed to play a wotja URL or wotja file.

• If you share a wotja make sure you don't infringe the copyright of others!
