This application is aimed to Guild Wars 2 players who are invested in World versus World battles (WvW).If you are an experienced Commander who like to plan battles, a player who wants invest more in WvW, or if you simply want to have at any time an overview of the battle field, WvW Battle Map is the perfect tool to stay informed.The application has two main composants :- A full-screen application displaying all objectives states in real time- A widget displaying total scoresWhen first using the widget or the application, you can choose your world from the list of available worlds. However, you can change this selection at any time from the "Settings" button.Description of the application:The WvW Battle Map application gives you an overview of the battle field.It consists of two main elements.On the right part of the screen, the map is displayed, showing all associated objectives.These objectives are represented by colored dots on the map, and this color corresponds to the color of the world holding the objective.If an objective is held by a guild, a symbol is displayed on the dot, on the map.You can touch an objective to get more information about it, especially the name and the tag of the owner guild.There are 4 buttons at the bottom of the screen (on the global map), which activate the detailed view of each map (Eternal Battlegrounds or one of the three borderlands).The second key element is the events history.It displays all objectives captures with the following information:- Time of capture- Objective type- Name of the objective- Former owner- New ownerClicking on the event highlights the corresponding objective on the map.Map and events history are updated every 10 seconds, allowing for real-time information.This delay can be changed on the parameters screen.In "detailed view" mode, a timer for each captured objective is displayed.This 5 minutes timer shows the remaining time before the "Righteous Indignation" buff expiration (this buff prevents the objective from being captured).When this timer ends, an entry is added to the history of objectives without "Indignation" buff, displayed between the events history and the map.Widget description:The WvW Battle Map widget is updated every 30 minutes. It shows at any time the name of the three competing worlds, their total score and the number of captured objective of each type (camp, tower, keep or castle) for each of these worlds.The purpose of this widget is a quick overview, available at any time, of the overall score of the battle.Note:To access the full-screen application, you can either launch it from the application icon, or by clicking on the map on the widget.A widget is an element of the application that can be placed on one of the home screens.
