The Labor Curve App is an educational tool to help providers better understand a woman's progress during spontaneous labor. This easy-to-use app effectively illustrates when patients are dilating appropriately and offers suggestions (other than cesarean section) for aiding their progress. This app can be used at the bedside in real time, and retrospective data entry is also possible. To help Obstetrics providers better understand women’s progress during spontaneous labor, Labor Curve provides an educational tool to enter and track dilation measurements in real time. This easy-to-use app illustrates each patient’s labor curve, plotted against data published in the study by the Consortium of Safe Labor (Zhang et. al., 2010).
