National Park Travel Assistant is the perfect tool for travelers especially in areas with low or no cellular signal. It carries all the information needed while travelling in the park like: hikes by difficulty/elevation/length, all other points of interest (lakes, waterfalls, mountains...), compass, latest park updates (tweets), maps, park events and many many more. All the information is available for offline usage. Maps, trailhead brochures and all the park information is stored on your device. Park updates and events are cached for offline access as well. See yourself on the map, search for POIs near you, get detailed information and store in your trip plan. Travel Assistant integrates with existing door-to-door navigation apps for easy navigation to your desired locations in the park (requires data connection).

* Explore all Points Of Interest in the park. Search for specific POI by name (e.g. Half Dome) or by categories (e.g lakes, waterfalls...). Read detailed descriptions, explore it on the map and save it to your trip.

* Trails-head brochures and maps: we pre-bundled all the brochures and maps into the application so that you can always have it when needed. It requires NO connectivity and you can use it in airplane mode anywhere in the park!

* Hikes and trails: unlike other POIs, hikes/trails are more complex as some are long and easy, some are short and difficult etc. Travel Assistant provides the best search and filtering for you to find the hikes you are interested at. Filter by elevation, distance and difficulty. Read detailed description about the trail, see it on the map and add to your trip plan.

* My Trip Plan: build your trip plan by storing interesting POIs you'd like to visit.

* Services: We've mapped restrooms,gas-stations, restaurants and lodging places. All those are available for you via global search or by category. Find available gas-stations near by, closest restroom and more!

* Search around me: see all available POIs by category, directly on the map and centered around your location. Simply add/remove layers of information to/from the map, explore the data, add to your trip plan and more!

* Navigation (requires data connection and navigation software installed): Travel Assistant seamlessly integrates with navigation applications like Waze, Google Navigation and more to provide one click access to door-to-door navigation. Navigate easily to any of the points of interest by directly from Travel Assistant.

* Compass: well, compass is a compass :). It is one of the most beautiful and polished compass for the Android platform. Always handy and needed tool for travelers.

* Events: never miss an event that takes place in the park while you are there. Travel Assistant will fetch the latest park events for you and store it for offline access.

* Park updates: conveniently get all the park updates (like blocked roads, closed trails etc). This will be available for offline access as well.
