What will the world look like in 2035? This app provides a preview of what could be waiting for us over the next two decades. It contains three different scenarios that consider possible social, economic and societal developments, based on existing knowledge and insights. Some of these developments may give rise to optimism, others may present us with a negative outcome while having a positive impact on other parts of the world. And some developments may be downright alarming. These three scenarios enable us to 'practice with the future’: to consider what might change, what that change would mean for us, and how we would respond to it. Delta Lloyd uses these scenarios to critically examine possible future events and to prepare for them by adjusting its strategy accordingly. In that way it can give its customers certainty, both now and in the future. With this app, in which the various scenarios are explored using short films and text, we share our vision of the world in order to give others the chance to think about the future and to discover new opportunities and possibilities.
