Zmanim for iPhone and iPod touch is a daily zmanim calendar. The word “zmanim” is hebrew for “times,” generally referring to daily temporal milestones. Zmanim calculates all the times using math, so it works without an internet connection. You can show times for any day and even print them out from your printer.

Features:

• Internet Independent: The Zmanim are calculated using math, so you don't need an internet connection to use Zmanim. You only need a network connection when you want to use GPS to determine your location.

• Advanced Location Settings: As of version 5, there is a rich settings menu to configure your location. Use the GPS in your device, choose from a list, or set it manually.

• Weekly Candlelighting and Parasha: Zmanim shows doesn't stop with the daily times - it also lists the weekly parasha for both Israel and Diaspora as well as candlelighting times. You can set how many minutes before sundown candlelighting times should be calculated as.

• Printing: Zmanim supports printing of the daily Zmanim via AirPrint. You can print the daily Zmanim on a piece of paper and hang them up in public places, such as your synagogue, school, or Mikva.

• Date: Both the Hebrew and the Gregorian ("secular") date are displayed. You can change the date to show Zmanim for any day you want.

• Interface: The color of the times changes based on daylight. A quick glance can tell you if sunset has occurred. The times are blue during daylight hours and purple at night.
