Some of the team were big fans and a few others had never heard of it... this created a lively debate which inevitably lead on to the burning question ‘so come on then – what would you do if it actually DID happen – if there actually WAS an invasion of the undead or a devastating worldwide epidemic disease?’

The responses ranged from sublime to ridiculous of course but finally we all agreed that we would be pretty safe here at work – because we could just build ourselves a ‘zombie proof log cabin’. It was said as a joke, but it got us all thinking and after we talked about it for a while, everyone started to get really into it suggesting features and must-have accessories. We decided it would be a really good idea if we could get one up on the website, an actual building for sale, in time for Halloween.

We spoke to friends, partners and any zombie enthusiasts we could find and pulled together a list of features, including what the building would look like, what it would have in it and what the structure would be. There were interior features like a gym, a weapons room and a protected grow-your-own garden through to outrageous optional extras like a water cannon and flamethrowers.
