bankCheck is a fast and secure way to pay your bills. It is intended for people whose banks’ web sites are either very slow or do not have an unlimited data plan.

bankCheck supports multiple banks and multiple accounts within a bank.

bankCheck 4.0 is basically the same app as bankCheck 2.3. The difference is the bankCheck 4.0 takes advantage of the new display capabilities of IceCreanSandwich+.

To write a check you select the payee from a list, selected that date and than enter the amount. If you have several accounts for online payments than in bankCheck you must also select which account.

A message center is displayed below the checkbook. This allows you to see the progress of your payment and to know that your payment was successfully scheduled.

bankCheck is secure. All temporary and permanent information that is stored on your device is encrypted. Communications with your bank from this app is through a secure network (SSL). For security reasons bankCheck only allows you to pay payees that you’ve already set up on your bank’s website.

bankCheck is configurable. You can specify separate background colors for each financial institution and change the bank’s and account names to something meaningful.

bankCheck uses Direct Connect (OFX) to connect to your bank. Not all financial institutions support Direct Connect. We recommend that you use the free app bankTester to see if it can connect to your bank.

The bank list that is used by bankTester and this app can be found at www.ofxhome.com. However, just because the bank appears in the list does not mean it will work. Use bankTester to verify that it will work. Also, some banks charge a fee for the OFX service. Please contact your bank for details.

This software collects the following information

• Financial Institution’s (bank) name and ID

• Account number(s)

• User ID and password used to log into the bank. The user id and password are collected only if you select to store the information

The reason we collect this information is for the app to log into your bank and send the payment information. At no time will this information be sent to anyone else but your bank. No third party or anyone at PrettyPuppy has access to this information

You can choose to remove any or all of this information by
