Cartasite is taking new measures to improve driver safety by minimizing distractions on the road with cellSAFE.

cellSAFE works with the ROVR device to limit cell phone and laptop usage while a vehicle is in motion. The cellSAFE app communicates over Bluetooth to limit use of the mobile device while the vehicle is moving, and then immediately allows for regular use when stopped, putting an end to distracted driving.

Users have many options with cellSAFE. Supervisors can set the device to be completely locked (except for SOS calls), to block texts but allow calls, or to only allow the phone to call “white listed” numbers of their choosing, such as dispatchers or control centers.

cellSAFE works on all smartphones and many feature phones, as well as laptops (PC).
