A completely new idea and a wonderful ui design! Cyclock is both a timer (if it just goes one cycle) and a clock (if it repeats the cycle again and again). The app provides a clearly visual countdown and an alarm at the end of each cycle so that it is ideal for the time control in meetings, speeches, exams, trainings, even cookings and more.The unique feature of the app is to convert a time span into a cycle formed by a multisided shape and display the remaining time in percentage.For example, you want to count a 5-minutes span with Cyclock: --How to set the 5-minutes span?Just get your finger sliding up and down until a 5 sided shape, pentagon, appears, and the length of 5 minutes is displayed as 5:00 on the dial. --What will Cyclock do for you? Its hand will go one revolution within the 5 minutes and the process can be repeated cyclically if you set it.--What will you read on Cyclock? It is either the percentage of the remaining time—a new information in timing, or the normal countdown time. Of course, it’s up to you to select it.—What does it mean?That means you see time in shapes and read time with more meaning such as “how many (percentage of) time left”.Currently, we have two sets of spans for setting: one is the spans of 3min, 4min, till to 10 min, they match to the shapes from the triangle to the decagon with each side representing 1 minute. The other is the spans of 15, 20 and such till to 50 minutes, they also match to the shapes from the triangle to the decagon with each side representing 5 minutes. For example, 25 minutes is a pentagon on the screen as well. The knob on the Cyclock is actually a switch: tap it once, the hand will get back to zero; tap it the second time, the dial would slide away so that the four set keys will be uncovered. They are the selections of “percentage timing”, “one cycle or more cycles”, “bell” and “vibration”.
