eCall is designed for children, elderly or the infirm to quickly contact family, friends or emergency services should they need to. The application sends an SMS with geolocation information to selected recipients and also makes a phone call. If the recipient also has eCall installed it will detect the incoming emergency and enable them to quickly find the person in distress using the built in compass or Navigation app.
