emBeacon collects real-time environmental sensor data from untethered and/or energy harvesting emBeacons, who transmit the data to an Android device via Bluetooth Low Energy (aka Bluetooth SMART) using Advertise-Only mode. Multiple emBeacons' data can be collected simultaneously by any number of Android devices and individual data can be displayed on the screen. The COiN EM beacon consumes only 50uJ per BLE Advertise beacon and are available through EM Microelectronics at emBeacon@emmicro-us.com.

Works with Android 4.3 or greater on devices with Bluetooth 4.0.
