iPi was created for the curious, the curator, the trendsetters, the go-getters and the doers. iPi empowers users by giving them a streamlined, powerful app with which they can curate the stuff that is inherently “them”. iPi takes the innate pieces of each person – their Haves, their Needs, their Dreams – and layers them together into a mosaic that creates a personalized picture. A collage of who the user is.

Our platform puts users in charge of the stuff and places they interact with on a daily basis, as well as those from a lifetime of aspirations. These elements are curated in rich, visual galleries, and discovered through a smart, sleek and social discovery engine. This means that iPi is an intensely curated brand network; an interest graph that is sourced, structured and shared by the people who interact with those items and places every day.

FUNCTIONALITY:

iPi makes spontaneous curation easy. On the go users can add the items they have and the items they want, and the places they have visited and want to visit. Not only does this platform empower the curator (by adding unique significance to that item or place), but it also allows their friends and the entire iPi community to discover the individual's Haves, Needs, and Dreams.

EXPLORE

Users can find new items and places by browsing and searching the iPi network. This leads to more relevant results, as recommendations are provided by like-minded curators.

FRIENDS

The beauty of iPi is that recommendations, including gift ideas, are sourced from people whose opinions you value. Users can view friends’ items and places using two methods:

1. Through their friends’ Galleries/Neighborhoods (items/places) or

2. Through their friends’ Emotions tags of Haves, Needs and Dreams

NEIGHBORHOODS & GALLERIES

Users curate their Haves, Needs, and Dreams into dynamic galleries viewable by users in their network. Items are kept under My Stuff and places under My Places.

My Stuff – Whether users spot something on the street, in a store, or in the media, or if it is an item which they posses, they can quickly and easily add it to their Gallery of choice. See a pair of boots you love? Glimpse a necklace that would make a perfect gift? Place them in one of iPi’s Galleries to serve as a future reminder of a purchase you want to make (Need), a gift you’d love to receive (Dream), or as a statement to your friends and followers that you love this item and you highly recommend it (Have).

My Places – Added places are grouped as neighborhoods, keeping them together with other places within the same neighborhood. Users can separately add their favorite neighborhoods to ensure that information and places relevant to them are always in their feed.

CURATE

Users can add items and places to their Galleries by saying the item/place name or by typing it in.

TAKE A SLICE

Users can “take a slice” of any other iPi user’s Haves Needs or Dreams, making the slice a part of their own Haves, Needs, or Dreams.

NETWORK

Users can find and follow other iPi users by connecting their social networks (including Facebook, Twitter, and Google+), pulling from their contacts, or by searching the iPi network.

NOTIFICATIONS

Push notifications alert users to new followers, items or places in their network.
