What's the biggest hurdle in finding your lost pet? You don't know where the pet is, and people who have seen the pet don't know where you are... So with a bit of ingenuity we're trying to turn this situation around. We believe that people in general are willing to be the good Samaritans, willing to take that extra step to help out a fellow human. iRescue will enable them to do so!

We have made it as simple as possible for anyone with an iPhone to simply snap a photo of any pet that looks lost and within 20 seconds or less to post this info in the app. With a bit of effort we can create an up to date, ever changing database of lost pets, timestamped and geotagged. It's that simple. 20 seconds of your day...

As for the folks looking for their pets, they can simply search the data based on location, and hopefully see a photo of their lost friend. And knowing where and when it was seen last will give them a fighting chance to find their friend.

If we can help to reunite one person with their lost animal, we have done something worth doing! But we can do so much more. And it's up to all of you now to pitch and make this work...
