This app enables you to record the accelerations experienced by your mobile device and share the data online. To begin recording data, press and hold the "Hold to Start" button. Acceleration data along the Y axis will be recorded continuously for 10 seconds, and then recording will stop automatically. At that time, you will have the option to share the data on the iSENSE website (isenseproject.org) where they can be viewed publicly, or you may simply throw the data away. If you choose to upload the data set, you may immediately view a graph of the data live on the iSENSE website.

To make it easy for you to find your contributed data, this app prompts you to enter your first name and last initial. If you are not comfortable with your first name, last initial, rough location (specifies city/town at most), and acceleration data being posted on the web, please refrain from using this application.

While recording data, you will not be permitted to exit the app by pressing the Back button. However, pressing the Home button will stop recording. When the app resumes, a message will appear indicating that data recording was halted.
