imageFX is a photo effect application that lets you appreciate and edit your pictures in fullscreen, with panning and pinch-to-zoom. Support for alpha masks is available, for applying effects to certain image regions only.

The application is properly threaded and renders in background, for swift effect changes, and that with real-time preview and no UI blocking. Edited pictures are saved globally to the Pictures Hub.

Current supported effects with a variety of parameters (Status v1.1):

Bloat, Mosaic, Pinch, Tilt Shift, Vignetting, Wave, Bitmap, Brightness & Contrast, Channel Multiplier, Desaturate, Invert, Posterize, Saturation, Sepia, Box Blur, Motion Blur, Noise-sampled Blur, Zoom Blur, Sharpen, Unsharpen Mask, Crop.

The application is under continued development. More to come. Any feedback's welcome via the About section of the app.

The trial version is full functional, except for save functionality.

Changes (the gist):

- Fixed large image support (curse you, Silverlight!)

- Paint mode added.

- Four new effects.
