#imagine2014 is coming. It’s a tidal wave. It’s a spiritual nuclear bomb. It’s the energy of twenty thousand teenagers wildly shining for Christ. It is gatherings of tangible energy that explodes and scatter to ignite towns across South Africa with life, love and light.

It’s a movement of young dreamers, believers and doers who want to live out God’s calling on their lives.

It’s a partnership of youth pastors, youth workers, ministry networks, institutions and companies that takes hands with the Dutch Reformed Church family to ensure that the church of tomorrow step up to their calling.

It’s a governing body of ministry leaders that wants to assist the Dutch Reformed Church family to execute their mandate of spiritually moulding the lives of thousands of young people.

It’s a system with a solid foundation in both the real and virtual worlds from where youth ministry in the South African Church family can be run on macro scale for the next 5 years.

It is two youth festivals in 2014 that will take place over ONE long weekend at TWO venues across South Africa. Each festival will be attended by 10 000 teenagers, 1000 leaders (pastors and youth workers), 400 volunteers, 200 counsellors and 200 intercessors… And a bunch of curious others.

It is resources with specific themes that will be made available to guide teenagers on their discipleship road in their church context and to ease the task of their leaders.

It is a plan to radically change South Africa by putting those people who will lead in 20 years on the right spiritual path, enabling them to lead with wisdom.

#IMAGINE FOCUSES ON EVERYTHING THAT IS IMPORTANT IN A TEENAGER’S SPIRITUAL LIFE:

Faith, inner healing, calling and vision, identity forming, a rich prayer life, sexual purity, equipment to make a practical difference and especially the ability to experience God’s dream and carry it in their hearts.
