japan jikkan is an app magazine offering readers a highly sensual and unique insight into

the culture, tradition and heart of Japan, from perspectives of past, present and future,

through an impressive selection of photos, videos, music and design, accessible on any

smartphone or tablet.

japan jikkan is designed for intellectually curious readers interested in maximizing their

enjoyment of life – in work as well as leisure – by drawing inspiration from Japanese spirit

In addition to the feature articles, each issue of japan jikkan incorporates a theme colour and sound. Spring is here and in Japan nothing is more spring then the beautiful Sakura Flowers that shine an unprecedented ephemeral glow of happiness around the land. We minted in Sakura-iro for this issue. And our sound theme is Koijihama (lit. beach of love) is a scenic spot on Iragomisaki Cape, famous as the setting of Toson Shimazaki's poem "Yashi no Mi" (Coconut).
