Taxi Seguro is the first application to combat "express kidnapping".

When taking a taxi, you can enter the license plate, take a picture, and you will be monitored online and through your device's GPS phone. People that can track your position, are trusted you've registered. Also, if the taxi is outside the set course, or is delayed longer than calculated for you, an alert is sent via Facebook, twitter and email to people you trust (previously recorded). You'll also have a panic button to inform the authorities and people you trust about the incident in case of danger.
