This app takes some of the guesswork out of deciding whether or not to take another card, double down, split your cards, or stand on your hand. All you do is select the number of decks being used (the dealers can tell you), select whether or not the dealer has to stay or hit on a soft 17 (this information is usually written right on the table top), select your two first cards, select the dealers "up" card, and hit calculate. You are then provided with what has proven to be the best decision (mathematically) on how to play the hand. It is not a guarantee you will always win the hand, but, it will provide you with the decision that gives you the best odds of winning.

Most casinos do not allow you to use your phone at the table, however, you can watch the play at the table to help determine if the players are using the basic strategies (which is a good thing), or if they are just playing by the seat of their pants (which is not a good thing).
