******************** THE ORIGIN & HISTORY OF FUSION JAZZ MUSIC ********************

Jazz fusion, jazz-rock, fusion jazz, or simply, fusion, are all modifications of a musical fusion genre which was cultivated from mixing R&B and funk rhythms and complex time signatures derived from non-Western music, the electronic effects and expansion of rock music, as well as extended, mostly instrumental compositions with a jazz style to lengthy group improvisations.
