HalalTrip makes Halal food discovery and trip planning for Muslims easier, fun and more intuitive than ever.

Whether you are planning to travel for holiday/business or want to explore the city where you live, HalalTrip will make it easier, fun and engaging. The app allows you to find and share Halal food, get prayer times for your next flight and have the most important travel dua(s) you need for your journey in one place. Other features such as city guides and hotel-booking features will be added shortly. The app has English and Arabic interfaces.

1. The food spotter enables you to share photos of dishes (from the camera or from your image library), write your own review/recommendations and share them with others. You can edit your review anytime. Discovering and sharing food spots from around the world for Muslim foodies and travellers has never been easier. Become a Halal Food Spotter now!

“Nearby” tab uses your current location to display photos of dishes served in nearby restaurants that have been shared and reviewed by others. Clicking on the photo gives details about the dish as well as the location and map to the restaurant.

If you are planning a trip, just change the location to the place you are planning to go, by tapping the location bar, to find dishes spotted nearby that location.

“MyDishes” tab will keep all the dishes you share one in place. You can also “favorite” any dish and they will be kept on the “Favorites” tab.

The “Latest” tab will allow you to keep track of the latest dishes shared by others from around the world. With the city & country name superimposed on the images of the latest dishes shared, you will be able to enjoy the "visual delights" brought to you from around the globe.

2. Prayer times and qibla direction for all your upcoming flights.

Brought to you by CrescentRating, the world's leading authority on Halal Travel, the app includes the world's first in-flight prayer times & direction calculator. This calculator which was earlier available on “Crescent Trips” app is now integrated into the HalalTrip app.

You can now better plan your prayer timings on-board the aircraft by knowing in advance the prayer times and qibla direction for your upcoming trips.

Travelers just need to input the flight details and the app’s in-flight prayer time calculator does the rest. The app will also alert users on the prayer time even when the mobile device is offline and 35,000 feet in the air.

It also provides links to get information on prayer facilities and halal food availability at the departure and arrival airports.

3. All Travel Dua(s)

This Islamic app has a collection of some of the most important dua(s) (supplications) for travel. They are provided in Arabic with the English translation. It also provides audio playback of the dua(s).

4. Select English or Arabic interface

The users have the option to select the app interface to be in English or in Arabic. More language interfaces will be added in the future versions.
