Here-I-Am is a simple android phone application that share your location with friends or family, when you need their attention and help. A person can send SMS to his/her added contacts with location information, by pressing the on-screen [Here] button. The phone will then determine its location by three ways.

Firstly, using GPS Satellites which are accurate to within a few meters, but they only work out doors. Secondly, uses the location of WiFi hot spot as its location when you are on a WiFi network. Lastly, using Cell Towers based on the calculation of the phone's proximity to known cell phone towers.

This application is great for Children, Adults and the Elderly, because in the event of an emergency, they just need to hit the [Here] button and the pre-defined text, current address, and GPS coordinates will be sent instantly to the pre-set contact numbers.
