This application is a hunting specific journal that receives and stores important data points of a hunting or scouting event. The application receives GPS and weather condition updates at user defined intervals. GPS locations are displayed on maps that can be configured to display a map tile, or satellite view. The user can record specifics of the hunt or scout event that includes fields for latitude, longitude, weather conditions, weapon and ammunition used, species hunted, number harvested and event notes.

Features

*Dashboard screen that displays current condition information such as:

-latitude and longitude, displayed on a map with overlay marker indicating current position

-weather condition, temperature (in F and C), humidity, wind direction and speed.

*User can configure the GPS update interval setting to: Continuous, 5, 30 or 60 seconds.

*User can configure the map to display the Map tile view or Satellite view.

*Features the ability to mark (save) a location, current weather conditions and add hunting specific information such as:

-Weapon used

-Ammo used

-Species hunted

-Number harvested

-Notes for the hunt (I like to record a summary of the hunt including who I hunted with, any interesting events, scouting information, what dogs were used etc. etc.)

*Display screen listing of all saved locations.

*Display saved locations in a full screen map view.

*Generate a formatted report of saved locations to the SD card. The report includes all event information (GPS location, weather, hunting info).
