The teaser on SonyMusicIndia Youtube channel has clocked around 4 million views and counting along with 90k+ likes which makes it highest for any movie teaser launched. The most expected single ‘Mental Manadhil’ from O Kadhal Kanmani was released on 17th, March 2015 is a hit already!

O Kadhal Kanmani, is a love story about a live-in relationship couple that moves abroad to pursue their dreams, starring the Malyalam superstar Mammootty son Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen working with Mani Rathnam for the first time. This movie is set to be in the lines of alaipayuthey. The original soundtrack and film score are composed by A. R. Rahman. Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for the Tamil version of the tracks, whereas Sirivennela Sitaramasastri has penned the lyrics for the Telugu dubbed version. Rahman has also announced that his son A.R. Ameen will be debuting in this movie singing a devotional number. Rahman stated that the single Mental Manadhil is a light-hearted song and had co-written the track with Mani Ratnam.
