This application gives a dynamically animated view, of the compass direction, in which Muslims direct themselves in their daily prayers; that is, towards the Holy House, called the Kaabah in the holy city of Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It does this from almost any location in the world. This application helps the Muslim community, god willing, because, as it says in the Qur'an:

"And from wheresoever you start forth (for prayers), turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-Al-Haram (at Makkah), and wheresoever you are, turn your faces towards it (when you pray) so that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers, so fear them not, but fear Me! - And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided."

Currently this application runs on Android mobile phones supporting version 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

This version features new compass needle.

The needle that points towards the Kaabah is Red in colour.
