Software based signal generators are not reliable as a lot of factors do influence the signal generation e.g. available RAM and number of other applications running. It has got a lot of limitations when it comes to signal generation e.g. maximum frequency that can be generated etc and how much you can rely on it.

This app send commands to AD-9850 or AD-9851 DDS based board over bluetooth to generate a constant voltage and frequency signal from a few Hertz to several Mhz. Since AD-9850 and AD-9851 works are different maximum frequencies so user can select whether they are using AD-9850 or AD-9851 from Settings tab. You can change the output frequency in real time in 1 Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1000 Hz, 10000 Hz, 100000 Hz, 1000000 Hz increments OR any random frequency using keyboard.
