SpellA is a simple game designed to help kids learn their spelling words. In particular, SpellA Year 5 contains some essential words that Year 5 students (8-9 years of age) in New Zealand should know how to spell. Words to spell are spoken (in a Kiwi accent) and the player is given a number of tries to correctly spell the word. The game plays like a reverse hang man with the player selecting the next letter in the word to spell from a multiple choice letter selection (with Teddy losing parts until the word is spelt correctly).

Please note that no teddies were harmed in the production of this game.

Unlike SpellA Year 5 Lite, this is the standard edition and includes all word lists which equates to approximately 280 words to spell. Lists can be enabled and disabled to vary the number of words used in each quiz.
